Honesty

What this cannot do

Not a verdict about a person, a low score is not a clean bill of health, and no analysis replaces verification through a second channel.

Honesty

What this cannot do

A tool that only tells you what you fear is not a tool. These limits are printed in every report — the full list lives on its own page.

It is not a verdict about a person

PrivateCue reports how closely a conversation matches documented scripts. A high score means this pattern is dangerous — not this person is guilty.

A low score is not a clean bill of health

Known indicators absent is not evidence of honesty. Re-run as the conversation develops — the moment to check is right after money is first mentioned.

Built against misuse

It analyses an interaction you are having. No person-search, no bulk lookup, no surveillance use, no data retention.

The definitive test is a second channel

Call the person on a number you already had. Contact the institution using the number on your card. Ask one person who wants nothing from you.

01 · Known blind spots

Where it is most likely to be wrong

Overlapping professional language

A genuine adviser can use the same words as an investment script. Read the matched phrases, not only the score.

A script that has not reached its ask

Some operations stay clean for months. Before money appears, there may be nothing to detect.

EN
Conversation not in English

The rule library is written for English. Treat a low translated-text score as not measured, not safe.

Identity, images and voices

The tool cannot authenticate a face, voice, photo or video call. Use an unpredictable live challenge.

Context outside the pasted thread

Prior conversations, shared history and payments elsewhere remain invisible to the analysis.

02 · High score

Pause. Then verify somewhere else.

03VerifyBank, institution or uninvolved person

A high score is a prompt to verify—not a reason to accuse. Use a channel the other person did not provide: a number already on your card, a contact you already had, or somebody who wants nothing from you.

01Contact the institution through a number you already had

Not the number in the message, not the number on the website they sent. Use the number on your card, or the one printed on a statement that arrived before this conversation started. If the approach is genuine, the real institution will already know about it.

02Demand a live video call with a challenge you invent

Ask them to hold up three fingers, turn their head left, or read back a random sentence you type in the moment. Pre-recorded video and most current deepfake streams fail an unpredictable request. Refusal, or "my camera is broken", is itself the answer.

03Check the platform they want you to use

For any investment: SEC/FINRA BrokerCheck, the FCA register, or ASIC in Australia. If it is not registered, it is not an investment. Also check the FCA and SEC clone-firm warning lists — fraudsters copy real firms with near-identical websites.

04Check the domain age

A "trading platform" registered last month, with a TLS certificate issued the same week, is not a firm. The registration date is public and takes ten seconds to find.

05Search their exact phrases

Copy three or four distinctive sentences into a search engine inside quotation marks. Industrialised scripts are reused thousands of times and frequently appear verbatim in scam-report databases and forum threads.

06Ask someone outside the conversation

Send the thread to one person who does not want anything from you. This is the single most effective defence in existence, and the one every isolation tactic in every script is designed to prevent.

03 · Low score

Low means no known signal fired—yet.

Ordinary conversationNothing known appears
Money or urgency appearsThe conversation changes shape
Run another checkNew text can produce new evidence

A low score is not evidence of honesty. Keep watching and re-run when money, investment, crypto, an emergency or secrecy first appears. Before that moment, there may be nothing in the text to find.

Isolation overrides the score. If you are being pressured to keep the relationship secret from family or friends, that pressure is itself the finding.

If you have already sent money

Call your bank today using the number on your card, ask for the fraud department, and file a report the same day. Recovery windows for transfers and crypto can close within hours.

Watch for the second approach. Someone may offer to recover your money while claiming to be the FBI, Interpol or another agency. That is a recovery scam. Legitimate agencies do not contact victims to sell paid recovery.
